Jeffrey's show

Wow, it's already 3 weeks into January. We've been good since the holidays. Meredith is growing fast, and is eating all kinds of different foods now. Just after Christmas she learned how to pick up Cheerios and other little finger foods, and now demands them loudly at each meal. She is not crawling yet, but pivots a lot on her belly and 'talks' a lot -- making different sounds. Her hair is growing more quickly now, as you can see below:

From January 2011

Jeffrey is doing well, though it's a little hard to find things to do with the cold weather outside, and him being a little too young to do things that require a longer attention span. He is still going to pre-school 5 times a week. His pre-school class put on a show recently -- here's a video of a part of the show -- Jeffrey was the 'rooster'




This weekend, no special plans. It's really cold out today and will be tomorrow. Deep in the heart of winter I suppose.

Jeffrey's 4th birthday is coming up rapidly (Feb 12). At the local firehouse (the Alpha fire company), you can rent their meeting room and kitchen for kid's birthday parties, so that's what we are doing. I think Jeffrey and the other kids who will come will get to do lots of fun stuff around the fire station. Since it is a volunteer station, the rental money will go to a good cause. Should be fun!
